Ford 'n Flames
Restored, classic pick up trucks are all the rage in car circles, and the very popular Ford 100 is depicted in Ford 'n Flames. As with the roadsters, the owners of these trucks have taken to painting hot rod flames on their vehicles, emphasizing the power, heat and roar of the engines. In this painting, I took liberties in stretching the composition and enhancing the colors - almost to the point that at first you might not realize it is a truck. Also, as the truck is red, the landscape reflections are depicted in shades of red, pink and purple.
