California Dreaming
On a trip to Monterey, California, I saw two vintage Ferraris side by side in the sun at a car show - one yellow and one red. One is reflected in the other so they merge in almost a double exposure. Look carefully and you will see a spectator in a white hat. His reflection and that of the yellow Ferrari are reflected in the louvers of the red Ferrari and repeated the length of the car. You can also notice that the blue skies turn red and pink when reflected in the red car. And with the swirl of colors the title, California Dreaming, references the nostalgia dreams of the Beach Boys and the passion many of these cars inspire.
