"The 1994 Cheekwood National Painting Competition . . . Lory Lockwood's Volkswagen Reflection was also impressive, showing the headlight and partial body of a car reflecting an outdoor scene. The technique, much of what was required here, is outstanding, as the reflected images are revealed in distortion but convincingly."
